If money wasn’t an issue, there are three jobs I know I’d dive into without hesitation: acting, directing, and being part of a writer’s team. Each of these roles connects back to one thing I can’t get away from, storytelling.
Acting has always called to me because it’s more than memorizing lines. It’s about stepping into someone else’s skin and giving them breath, emotion, and truth. I love the idea of making an audience feel something through a performance, whether that’s laughter, heartbreak, or reflection. Acting is storytelling in its rawest form. Being vulnerable enough to let people see different sides of humanity through you. Allowing stories to be told through you. It’s exciting.

Directing would let me take a step back and see the bigger picture. I naturally think in scenes and visuals. How one moment should flow into the next, how characters should move, and how emotions should build. Directing feels like holding the entire story in your hands and shaping it into something unforgettable, something that reflects not just what’s written but the deeper meaning behind it.
And then there’s writing! The foundation of it all. Being part of a writer’s team would give me the chance to brainstorm, create, and build with others who live for storytelling too. I’ve always had a passion for giving characters their voices and shaping stories that feel real and powerful. Writing on a team would let me share that gift while also being inspired by others.

All three of these jobs are different roles, but to me, they’re all connected. They’re about bringing stories to life in different ways, and that’s what I was made to do. If money didn’t matter, this is where I’d spend my days. Living in the art of storytelling.
